Professors Francisco Pereira and Filipe Rodrigues gave an intensive 4-hour tutorial on Model-based Machine Learning for Transportation at the 21st IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC 2018).

This tutorial was based on the Model-based Machine Learning course that they teach at DTU. Model-based Machine Learning leverages the powerful framework of Probabilistic Graphical Models (PGMs) and recent developments in probabilistic programming to allow the combination of domain knowledge with data driven methods in a very simple way.
