Renming Liu joined our group as a Research Assistant. Before joining us, he graduated from the Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), obtaining the MSc in System Science degree. He will be working on tradable mobility permits.

Ioanna Arkoudi joined our group as a Research Assistant. Before joining us, she graduated from the University of Copenhagen (KU), obtaining the MSc in IT & Cognition degree. She will be working on automatic specification in dynamic behavior modeling and specification through advanced statistics and machine learning methods.

A very interesting paper from MIT researchers, including prof. Carlos Lima Azevedo from our group, looked into data from over 300 cities to find differences and similarities across cities. 12 different city typologies came out of the study. You can find the paper titled “A novel global urban typology framework for sustainable mobility futures” here, and the data can be downloaded from here. Find the abstract below.
