Alysha Chamadia recently joined our group as a PhD student and will be working jointly on the eMotional Cities and IntraUrban projects with Otto Anker Nielsen as main supervisor, and Carlos Lima Azevedo and Jesper Ingvardson as co-supervisors. Her research is focused on human-centered modeling of urban mobility and travel behavior.
She has a MSc in Social Data Science from the University of Copenhagen, where, for her thesis, she studied differences in travel behavior by demographics among university students based on GPS data from the Copenhagen Networks Study. In her PhD she will work on analysing individual emotional data related to the urban environments and when using public transport facilities.
We wish her a fun and productive time during her stay with us! 😊
