We are happy to announce the 2nd edition of the course on the MOOC platform edX called Leveraging Urban Mobility Disruptions to Create Better Cities, starting on 19 Jan 2021, featuring the members of our group prof. Antonios Koutounidis joined our group as a Research Assistant in December 2020. He is working on creating the supply road network of Greater Copenhagen for the SimMobility simulation tool. He is also working on energy behavior analysis of electric vehicles owners and on the EV charging location problem.

Hamid Seyedi joined our group on December 1st, 2020, as a Ph.D. student. His research focuses on Machine Learning for shared, connected, and cooperative automated vehicles. He is graduated in Transport Systems Engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome.

Ioulia Markou, who completed her PhD last year in our group, won the 3rd place in the TRA VISIONS 2020 Young Researcher Competition in the cross-modality category, with her work entitled Prediction of traffic anomalies due to special events. Congrats, Ioulia!
